Saturday, January 30 We will meet at the Church at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served then we will go and work on the VIM Disaster Volunteer Day!
Day will include a variety of work options to include debris pick-up, interior flood demo, installing sheetrock, painting, flooring, carpentry…
* All skill levels welcome. We will have work for volunteers from light labor to highly skilled.
* All work projects will be located in the Tulsa area.
* Work days are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
* Advanced Registration is Required
* All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age

We hope you join us for our Christmas Eve Services
We have the list for the Upper and Lower Elementary kids for coats. If you want to pick up a coat during Black Friday sales you can sign up for your kid or kids in the Narthex on the sign up sheet this Sunday. Please have the coast back at church by Nov. 29th so we can bless them and send them out the following Tuesday.
This year we will need to purchase 90 coats.
Advent is a season in the church liturgical calendar where we prepare for the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus the Christ. The color we use for Advent is Blue which is used as color for Hope. This year Advent will start on November 29th 2015. During Advent we will host several special events listed below. We hope you join us as we prepare for the coming of Jesus.
December 4-6th Festival of the Trees for more info speak to Vicki Heflin
December 6th The Carol Service will be at 7:00 p.m.
December 16th at 6:00 p.m. Blue Christmas service it is a worship experience were we remember those for whom the holidays are not joyful; they are lonely, in mourning, feeling alienated and cast apart from family celebrations; they are experiencing depression and sadness and yet are often compelled to “put on a happy face” for others, denying their true feelings.
December 24th Christmas Eve Services at 6:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Mission Focus: This year we will be buying Coats for Kids from the Elementary Schools. We hope to have all the sizes we need by the first Sunday of Advent.
